Front of House

Join us at The Maple as a Front-of-House Team Member and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional hospitality to our new and loyal customers. While previous hospitality experience is a plus, we value personality and the right fit within our close-knit team even more. We can offer comprehensive training and growth opportunities for all team members. Your shifts will encompass some evenings and weekends, thoughtfully scheduled to ensure a healthy work-life balance for all team members, with a competitive hourly rate of £11, plus tips.

At The Maple we are passionate about showcasing local and the food we serve. The Maple is a cosy restaurant in Cleeve that opened in 2022 and is still growing and attracting new people. We serve classic dishes with an exciting Maple twist, using fresh ingredients and beverages sourced from local businesses. We are eager to welcome more Front of House to our current team who can offer exceptional customer experience, attention to detail and share our passion for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevated dining experience – guarantee that our customers consistently receive an exceptional level of hospitality from when they arrival until they leave.
  • Reservation management – efficiently handle walk-in, phone, and online reservations through Res-diary, ensuring accurate confirmation.
  • Menu and local product expertise – develop a deep knowledge of our menus and the locally sourced products proudly served from our kitchen and bar.
  • Payment processing – execute cash and card transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Seamless team collaboration – collaborate seamlessly with our kitchen and fellow team members to deliver a seamless and flawless service.
  • Atmosphere enhancement – contribute actively to fostering a positive and lively atmosphere, nurturing relationships with both our loyal regular and new clientele.

In this role, your core responsibilities revolve around creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a welcoming ambiance that keeps them coming back for more.

Pay: £11 per hour, plus tips

Hours: Part-time (14-20hrs) & full-time (30-40hrs) available
